Warm-up:
1. This picture is part of a winning sports photography portfolio because it captures a ritual in a high enough shutter speed so that the water isn't blurry.
2. I think that the shutter speed was 1/125.
3. This is a key moment because it demonstrates the ritual that the team has. Also, this moment could have been planned because the photographer might have needed to know what shutter speed he needed to possibly use.
4. The advanced techniques that are present in this photo are the good use of shutter speed, and a wide focus range to capture the faces of the subjects.

Front Pages of the World
2. "Pais de luna dão esperança a David e Tiago" is my favorite headline because it means Luna parents give hope to David and Tiago. This headline is intriguing because it catches the reader's attention and makes them want to read the full story.
3. There are 6 stories on the front.
4. I notice that all newspapers have at least one main photo, a large title at the top, small headlines along the edges of the cover, little pictures scattered on the front, and different colored texts depending on the different topics covered in the newspaper.
5. The things that vary on different front pages of newspapers are the main stories, the pictures, how many pictures are on the front, the size, font, and color of the texts, the size and amount of headlines, and the location of the smaller pictures.
